And you were a joy in helping us!!”

“What a great job they did cleaning and deodorizing my rug. Nice and friendly people. Especially Gracie. I’m ready for Thanksgiving.”
“Westchester and Putnam County residents do not need to go any further than Mount Kisco for your area oriental, wool, silk, and silk-like rug cleaning services. Kalaydjian Rugs gave me a reasonable quote, which included pick up and delivery service, and, most importantly, the work was done well and in the time frame that was quoted. Silma was wonderful to work with and understands customer service. She responded promptly to any questions or concerns, and called to confirm pick up and delivery times so I knew exactly when she was coming to my home. I will definitely use them again in the future!”
Kalaydjian Oriental Rugs is a 7th generation, family owned and operated business, in the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York, conveniently located on Rte 117 between Kohls and Shoprite (Exit 38 off Saw Mill Pkwy), on the border of Bedford Hills and Mount Kisco.
The Kalaydjian family has been a mainstay in Northern Westchester serving the community for over 50 years.
Born in Iran of Armenian decent, Alice Kalaydjian’s roots are firmly planted in the heritage of Oriental Rugs. With rug weaving factories already established in Armenia, Alice’s grandfather, an artist and chemist, decided to close shop and relocate his family to Iran, where the Persian lamb’s wool was superior to any other. In Iran, her father took over his father’s business, building rug weaving factories throughout Iran where his rugs were exported all throughout Europe and the United States. Today, Alice and Lisa continue the family legacy bringing their rich heritage, history and knowledge to Kalaydjian Oriental Rugs.
We are extremely grateful for the reputation our customers have given to us, always striving to maintain the highest standards in every area of our business. It is a pleasure serving our wonderful community.
